Es ist offensichtlich, dass man mit Baumwollhandschuhen wenig Fingerspitzengefühl hat. Andererseits sind diese schon lange ein Thema von vorgestern. Wer ernsthaft arbeitet nutzt Nitril-Handschuhe. Deren Benutzung hat aus meiner Sicht genau so hohen Stellenwert wie auf die anderen Ebenen dem Kulturgut entgegen gebrachter Respekt. Ich konnte selten beobachten, dass ein Archivar sich vor der Benutzung ausgibt die Hände mit Seife wäscht.
