"Jenny Lukomski knows her calling. After talking to an archivist for five minutes at a career fair, Lukomski says she knew what she was meant to do. In January 2011, Lukomski was laid off from her position as assistant director for collections after 14 years at the Western Historical Manuscript Collection in Columbia, Mo.
